Quranflash is a Mac program designed for users who wish to have access to countless Quran books, recitations, and commentaries. This application provides you with an alternative to reading Quran books on the homepage of the developer, within your default browser.
The utility gives you access to Hafs - King Fahd Complex book which you can read directly from the app's interface. If you wish to have access to additional volumes just click the More Masahef button (bottom-left side of the screen) and select the book you need to download.
I like the fact that there's also an option to listen to Quran verses. All you need to do is select the preferred text-to-speech profile and click the Play button. Another important advantage is the fact that the utility provides you with accurate text translation from Arabic to English.
The one thing that bothers me is that you need to restart the application in order to apply display settings changes.
To summarize, I think it's worth installing this free program on your Mac. The application provides you with an intuitive interface, lets you download and read dozens of Quran books, has text-to-speech support, and can be used without paying a buck.
