When working in a busy environment, it's important to always keep track of your daily tasks and their due dates. QuickCal is a small application for Mac that offers you with a simple way to manage your events and keep you informed of any incoming deadlines.

Once you launch the program, an icon appears on your menu bar from where you can enter future events, check which tasks you need to complete asap and configure the app's settings according to your needs. You can set the application to hide completed reminders, enable notifications and run in stealth mode.

A good thing about using QuickCal is that it comes with an auto-complete feature which, if enabled, makes data entry a lot easier; as the program suggests you common terms as you are typing. Another important advantage of working with this app is that it detects any duplicates entries and lets you know in case this event occurs.

The only flaw I can find while using this timekeeping utility is that it doesn't allow me to set alarm sounds with your own audio files. As for the rest, the application works great, keeps me informed about incoming events, and the price is reasonable.
