VeryPDF PDF Compressor for Mac is, as its name suggests, a program that helps you shrink PDF documents on your computer. This application might prove to be of good use when you wish to attach a large PDF file to an email and require a solution for compressing the document.
After you select an input file, the app lets you configure several compression settings. You can choose the proper image downsample type (Bicubic, Closed, Average, and Subsample) and picture compress mode (JPEG, Auto or ZIP), encrypt the output file if necessary, and much more.
On the homepage of the developer it is said that the app supports batch processing. In my testing, I selected two input files. Sad to say, this program compressed only the first input file from the processing list, leaving the latter untouched.
Another thing I don't like about this Mac utility is the fact that you need to download and install an additional tool on your computer in order to use VeryPDF PDF Compressor for Mac.
I'd say it's worth trying this program only if the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you. Otherwise, you can find plenty of similar apps on the web that lack these disadvantages and offer you the results you need within moments.
