PDF Merge is designed to help you combine multiple PDF documents into a larger file. This way, you have the opportunity to save the content of several PDFs in one place, conveniently merged into a single document.
The program opens with a neat and attractive interface that makes using the app a hassle-free task. Loading the PDFs you wish to merge is done by browsing for files from within the application. In order not to waste your time with importing one file at a time, the tool lets you add entire folders of files – namely, you just need to select the folder that contains the documents you wish to merge, and the program will automatically add only the files with the .pdf extension. Once they are loaded, you can check the size and the number of pages of each document, and preview their content within the application. If necessary, you can change the sequence of the files you loaded by moving the entries up and down the list. Next, you simply enable the merging operation and determine the destination folder. Unfortunately, with this app, you can neither merge specific page ranges, nor password-protect the resulting files. Yet, the tool provides a log file directory where the history of the merging tasks that had been performed is preserved.
To conclude, PDF Merge offers a simple solution to combine as many PDF files as you want into a single document. However, the price is rather high considering the poor features provided by the app.
