Pallet is the official MacPorts GUI app for Mac OS X and was started as a GSoC project in May 2009.
It is in active development and continuous improvement (this is a beta product). Currently you can use it to install, upgrade and uninstall ports. Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.5 or newer
- MacPorts 1.8 or newer

It works perfectly and provides a great way to browse the ports from your desktop that is more efficient than going to the website and search the categories.
