Musictube is a music player for Mac and Windows that plays music from YouTube. The application takes advantage of the enormous YouTube library of music to let you instantly search and listen to any songs or albums that you like.

Musictube is an attractive and straightforward app with a neatly organized interface. Searching for songs is as easy as typing in the name of the song, album, or artist you want to listen to in the search bar. The app will display the results immediately, arranging songs by albums with their corresponding artwork. A click on the play button adds the selected album to a playlist for instant playback; you can add as many songs as you like using drag and drop, and create a playlist with unlimited songs. Most songs include lyrics, a list of similar artists, as well as photos.

Additionally, in the Versions tab the app lists alternative versions of the song you're listening to; this list mostly includes covers, videos with subtitles, live versions, etc. You can also switch to a live performance, cover, or remix of your current song by hitting a dedicated button.
