miXscope enables microscope users to take snapshots or create time-lapse movies of the world around them. In addition to snapshots and movies, users can add time stamps, text comments, image overlays, make measurements, add special effects, and/or draw on the live view images. miXscope supports the QX3/QX3+, QX5/Smithsonian, MiScope, ProScope, Dino-Lite, and Dino-Eye USB microscopes. It also supports the external iSight camera.
Version 3.1.1 adds an onion skin effect option for stop motion movies, and line, oval, and rectangle functionality to the live drawing mode.
