MenuEverywhere is an application that allows users to fully customize Mac OS's menu bar in a multi-monitor environment. Whenever you open a new application or application instance, the menu bar is placed on the original monitor. If the application window is then placed on a second monitor, accessing the menu bar becomes inconvenient. With MenuEverywhere however, a permanent menu is attached to individual windows (similar to the Windows operating system) or monitors.
The utility is particularly appealing because it is highly customizable to specific user needs. The menu bar may act as a pop-up bar (appears only when the window is selected). You can enable the menu via a predefined hotkey or mouse button, have the menu displayed as horizontal or vertical and pick from multiple button shapes.
Users may choose to ignore MenuEverywhere's functionality within a set of applications. This can be done from the Ignore List tab.
All in all, this is a flexible and simple to use application that will effectively enhance your productivity when working with multiple monitors.
