Mahjongg Artifacts is a nice solitaire game in which you must match pairs that are identical to clear the board. However, in order for a tile to be eligible it must be free, which means that it must have at least one free side (right or left) and no other tiles on top of it. In this game, there are some tiles which belong to one group, for instance, seasons, and they can be matched together, even if they are not identical. There are also other tiles which work as jokers, and they can be matched with any tile. To complete a level, you must find and match the golden tiles.
All the games include lovely backgrounds, hints (highlights a possible pair), undo option, and the eye (which highlights all the free tiles). Hints are unlimited, but they cost you points when you use them. If you get stuck, you can also use the shuffle button, which shuffles the tiles on the board, but this will also cost you some points. The game includes two modes: Quest and Classic. In Quest, you will visit different places in China playing different layouts and uncovering a story as you progress. On the contrary, in Classic mode, you can select the layout you wish to play, but first you have to unlock them in the Quest mode. The game features great graphics, nice sounds, and a pleasant Chinese music.
