Magic Lasso is an ad blocker for macOS, a tool so much needed nowadays because it allows users to enjoy their web browsing session without getting interrupted by all sorts of advertisements.
It comes wrapped in a basic interface, comprised of a left-side panel and the main display area. The buttons are nicely shaped and have enjoyable colors. Yet, there aren't many configurations available.
When it comes to its features, the app has built-in ad blocker rules and provides support for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. There's also a Community Allow list that disables the ads for sites that have been regularly allowed by the app users.
Furthermore, it includes a feature called Battery Boost that has the role of improving energy efficiency and responsiveness. More, it doesn't have paid ads to pass its block rules, and the app has no access to the users' browsing history.
All things considered, Magic Lasso is a cool addition for Mac users who want to prevent ads from interfering with their browsing session. The app's free, but if you want to use its full features, you must pay for the Pro version. Also, there's an increase in CPU usage, while some of the features lack documentation.
