MacX Free FLV Video Converter 2.5

MacX Free FLV Video Converter is a free utility that lets you convert your video files to FLV, AVI and MP3 files. It is probably designed for users who want to upload their videos to video sharing websites. Nowadays, most video sharing services automatically convert your videos to the formats they store video in, so this app isn't that relevant any more.

The graphical user interface looks a bit old, but it still remains quite functional. There is one thing I like about it that you don't see in other interfaces: all the conversion options are available from one screen. In this case, they are located at the bottom of the screen. You can change both audio and video options like bitrate, sample rate, frame rate, volume and codec used. I also appreciate that the application is free, and although the conversion of files to FLV isn't that popular any more, the program also supports conversion to AVI (DivX and XviD).

What I don't like about this converter is its graphical user interface. Then it doesn't have any video editing features. Since it is free, I can't get too picky, but I thought I would point that out. In any case, you can find better free converters out there.
