MacPilot is a capable and feature-rich program that provides you with access to multiple settings hidden within your Mac.
You can work with this utility to improve the performance of your system by configuring startup, Time Machine, and Spotlight settings. Finding some of the aforementioned options within the OS X might prove to be difficult and time-consuming.
Another advantage is the fact that you can also use this application to easily set up network options. In addition, the program gives you direct access to utilities like Screen Sharing, Network Diagnostics, and many other.
I also like that MacPilot provides you with a list of error codes correspondent to OS X. This way, you can easily and quickly learn the source of the errors you might encounter while working on your Mac.
To summarize, MacPilot proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to configuring settings hidden within your Mac. The app provides you with dozens of system options, offers you plenty of useful features, and comes with an affordable price.
