MacDropAny 1.5

MacDropAny is an excellent app for DropBox users on the Mac. Basically, it allows you to keep any folder on your system in sync with your DropBox account.

This is great for when you can't simply move the folder that you want to sync with your DropBox account to the DropBox folder. The application does its magic by creating links called SymLinks. So, once you add this link to your DropBox folder, the folder it belongs to will automatically be copied (not moved) to your DropBox account, and you will be able to open it on other computers where DropBox is running. Magic.

Setting up the application couldn't really be any easier. There are two ways in which you can do this. You can either drag and drop a folder to the MacDropAny application icon in your Application's folder or open the Application and follow the on-screen instructions.

Although this application doesn't really have a user interface, it works extremely well and it is really intuitive. All the input that you need to add is which folder you want to sync.

In my testing, the application worked great. I was able to add a folder to my Dropbox account in no time, and I could see DropBox uploading the new files almost instantly.
