Ludo Online is a multiplayer board game for Mac where you can challenge users from all over the world to play a Ludo match. This game features four themes, allows you to play against 2 up to 4 other users, and provides you with plenty of gameplay hints.
You can choose the opponents' type (computer, human or none), enable or disable sound effects and music, toggle fullscreen mode if necessary, etc. You can even change the appearance of the game tiles by opting for another theme (airplanes, birds, MSN-like or Pets).
Your goal is to roll the 5 or 6 dice point to put all of your tiles onto the board, move them clockwise (according to your dice values, one player at a time) until you reach the square from the center. If the advance of a game piece ends on a square occupied by an adversary's token, the opponent token is returned to its owner's yard.
However, if you're new with this type of board game, my guess is that it will take you a while to understand the way this app works (it lacks an integrated help manual). Another thing I don't like is that you can't save your gameplay progress. This is an annoying aspect if you ask me, as the game might take a while to be completed.
If you can ignore the aforementioned flaws, I'd say it's worth installing and playing Ludo Online on your Mac. The application comes with a user-friendly interface, gives you access to several game options, and comes without a price tag.
