Leawo Blu-ray Player is a lot more than its name suggests. This application not only lets you play Blu-ray discs, ISO image files, and DVD folders, but it also works with a wide variety of video and audio formats, allows you to create playlists, and provides you with dozens of playback settings.
Like many other apps from the video player category, this utility allows you to import various types of formats, play videos in fullscreen or windowed mode, etc. This program also gives you access to a wide range of video and audio settings which you can configure while watching a movie.
Another advantage is that it provides you with an option to notify you when your battery is running low. Then, the program can stop playing the movie you were watching and you can immediately connect the charger to your Mac.
An aspect I don't like about this application is that you cannot change the playback order by moving the input files; you can only enable or disable shuffle mode. Moreover, the program doesn't provide you with an option to save playlists for later.
If the aforementioned flaws don't mean much to you, you could install this app on your Mac and give it a try. The program is free of charge, hence, you got nothing to lose. Nonetheless, you can find better solutions for playing videos (for example, VLC media player) that are free of charge and offer you more features.
