iBoysoft Drive Manager is intended to facilitate your work with external and network drives. In this regard, the tool eliminates the need of continuously mounting and unmounting external storage devices. It is compatible with practically any type of external storage device, including portable hard drives, USB drives and SD cards.

Likewise, and this is probably its best advantage, the application supports read and write operations on various types of disk formats, such as FAT32, exFAT and NTFS. It is important to point out that macOS does not allow writing to NTFS partitions natively, a problem you can easily solve by installing iBoysoft Drive Manager.

As for network drives, the application lets you map them so that you can browse their contents just as if they were stored on a local disk. It supports connecting through not only LAN addresses but also via FTP servers. Regrettably, thought, the tool does not seem to support connecting to cloud storage accounts.

The tool runs from the menu bar from where you can open a small menu. Luckily, most common operations, like swapping between drives, mounting or unmounting all external drives as well as connecting or disconnecting network drives, are available from this menu. The main window is intended to the management of your drive list. Fortunately, external storage media are automatically added after their insertion.
