HyperImage is a nice tool that was designed to let you download images from the web easily and, most importantly, quickly.

You can do this in two different ways, either by pasting the website from which you want to download the images or by typing a few keyboards and searching on the entire Internet. Either way, searching for images with this utility will result in substantial time savings. At its heart, HyperImage is an image browser, so it can also be of use if you want to browse any photos or images saved on your Mac. You can click on a folder and all the images will be shown. The left and right arrow keys are used for browsing the images.

During a search the images are actually downloaded to your Mac, so you will be able to go back to previous searches and browse those as well, which is very convenient. All your previews searches are listed on the main window. You can double click on any of them to open the folder on Finder, but it is often easier to browse them from within the application.

HyperImage lets you greatly customize the download process by adding filters and setting how deep to navigate a website in its search for images.

This really is a wonderful app, however the customer service isn't great. I was testing this app awhile ago right before Tumblr changed it's oAuth system which killed HyperImage's ability to login and use the Tumblr functionality. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this when I purchased the app. I sent multiple emails to Kavasoft, and eventually I had to dispute the purchase via PayPal to get my money back. It's really unfortunate that this app isn't being updated, because it makes blogging on Tumblr so much easier.
