This program is exactly what its name suggests: an application that helps you learn the basics of HTML5 (core technology markup language) and CSS (style sheet language).

The utility features a very intuitive interface, provides you with 20 comprehensive tutorials, and gives you direct access to the homepage of the developer where you can find additional courses for various programming languages.

All training courses are nicely organized into chapters (Chapter List window) and you can start studying by simply clicking over one of the listed lessons. Then, the app displays a video player where you can watch and listen to the Web design experts (Elisabeth Robson and Eric Freeman) as they explain you the basics of HTML5 and CSS.

The integrated video player brings you Play and Resume buttons but it lacks a sound volume adjuster. In order to get back to the main menu of the app you just need to click the X button.

Back in the days, you could learn a programming language only by taking courses in high-school, college, or private lessons (which were a bit expensive). Now you can easily find all the info you need on the Web under the form of apps like HTML5 and CSS QuickLook Guide which help you develop programming skills from the comfort of your home, without paying a dime.

All in all, the application offers a very simple way to learn the basis of building websites. Even though it occasionally crashes, this program's video tutorials prove to be very useful to people who wish to start learning HTML5 and CSS.
