Head Soccer 3.3

Head Soccer is a game developed for Mac users who are fond of playing old school arcade games on their computers.

In this game the objective is to defeat your opponents by scoring as many goals as you can while defending your gate from fellow contestants' attacks.

The app provides you with gameplay instructions within its Options menu. You can disable or enable sound effects and background music, change default language, and check your current stats (won and lost matches, total goals, etc.).

I like the fact that you can choose between five game modes. What's more, the app enables you to challenge a friend to play a quick match on your Mac, using a defined set of controls (you can configure player 2 controls settings from the Options menu).

The only beef with this sports game is that it occasionally crashes. In my testing, it crashed two times while I was waiting for the app to load the selected challenges.

In general, Head Soccer provides you with an entertaining solution for spending your spare time on your Mac. The game is very addictive, offers you plenty of power-ups and character customization options, and is free of charge.
