Grain by Grain is a particle-based game in which you can create sand drawings. I've always been amazed by the quality of these works of art inside little bottles; and now, with this game, I can try to emulate the artists on my Mac.
There are five buttons at the top of the screen, which let you go back to the main menu, change the speed at which the sand falls when you click on the screen, and even take an in-game screenshot to your specified pictures folder or anywhere on your Mac. The button that looks like a star will do different things in each of the game's themes. Some times it puts a nice drawing on the screen that you can use as a base for your creations; other times it just fills the container with a solid color of sand.
In conclusion, Grain by Grain is a nice game for anyone who has or ever had an interest in these nice sand drawings in glass containers. It has a nice user interface, it lets you be creative, and it is easy to use.
