Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy

Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy

Travel back to the 18th century and uncover the secrets of bygone days.

Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy is a puzzle adventure game in which the action takes place in the 18th century. You play as the grandson of a baron who's been arrested and condemned to death based on piracy accusations and treason against the royal crown.

Your objective is to start your own investigation and save your grandfather. You will need to explore various scenes (jail, town square, etc.) and find as many hidden items as you can. On each location you can spot a new clue which will come in handy in your investigation.

This app doesn't let you choose between multiple difficulty levels. However, you can create as many player profiles as you like, disable the interactive tutorial, and use the built-in help guide if necessary. Plus, the app automatically saves the game progress for each of the created player profiles.

The game comes with a map that indicates the locations you need to explore. You can use the items collected from one scene within another location, click the Hint button when you cannot find the hidden object you need, and so on. The scenes are very nicely drawn and in some cases it may take a while to find all missing items as they are carefully hidden within the location.

In addition, from time to time, pirates will appear on the screen. You can earn a hint if you shoot them before they go missing. Another great thing is that if you collect all clover images from the visited scenes you unlock an additional chapter.

I really enjoyed playing this hidden object game. The app offered me dozens of puzzles, a captivating storyline, and nice artworks at a very reasonable price. Hence, I definitely recommend you to try Golden Trails 2: The Lost Legacy if you're into solving puzzles on your spare time.
