FLACTunes FLAC Converter is a very simple application that you can use to import your FLAC files into iTunes. As you may know, iTunes is a little picky when it comes to the formats that it accepts, and FLAC happens to be one of the formats that it won't tolerate. Still, many people download music in this format so it is nice to see an application that solves this little problem. It does so in a very easy way as well.

When you launch the application, you will see a small window that acts as a drop zone. You can drag all the files that you want to import into iTunes and the application will automatically convert them and import them for you. The process only takes a few seconds per file.

There aren't many settings that you can change, but there really isn't a need to. If you want to change the output format, though, you can go to the Preferences window and choose between Apple Lossless and AAC (256kbps). From here, the app lets you change the folder where converted files are stored and whether you want to import them directly to iTunes or not.

In conclusion, FLACTunes FLAC Converter does a good job of converting files. I tested it with a few sample files and their quality once converted was pretty good. It is fast, too.
