Find Any File comes as an alternative to using Mac's Spotlight tool for searching files on your computer. The program features a straightforward interface where all you need to do is to provide the keywords, select the preferred search filters, and the tool will take care of the rest.
You can use this utility to find files that are located on your local directories, on connected external storage devices or on your network. The program lets you use multiple filters for a single search task, choose which folders to be excluded from your searches, and select the preferred text options for the results window (adjust font size and style, select row height, etc.).
Another great aspect is that you can define a global hotkey for immediately revealing the program's main window. Other useful features include its fast search speed and the fact that it brings you easy-to-configure settings.
Even though you can easily find cheaper solutions (Spotlight or free third-party file finders), I still think you should at least give it a try to see how it works. It offers you more search filters than most file finders, works fast, and is very intuitive.
