Export Calendar Pro allows you to export your schedule to other formats. Thus, it helps you access your planned events on other applications and even share them with other people. The tool has a polished interface and, fortunately, it is one of those apps you know exactly what to do from the start.
There are two main tabs in the interface that correspond to the two main processes: fetching events and exporting them. Fortunately, the app integrates perfectly with Calendar so there is no problem in fetching your schedule from it. However, you should know that, as part of macOS security policies, you have to grant the application the permissions needed to do so. Once the events have been fetched, you can simply filter them according to date and type.
The Export tab, in turn, has some additional subtabs, including Data Selection, Data Sorting and Format. Likewise, there are some export templates for you to choose from, such as Google Calendar and Default Template. Yet, this does not mean you cannot create your own templates, which you can reuse later. As export formats, the tool supports Excel (XLSX and CSV) as well as tab-delimited text files. Additionally, you can customize the character used to separate fields and signal the end of a line.
Although, on the one hand, it is good that Export Calendar Pro works locally to preserve the integrity of your data; on the other hand, this brings about limitations related to facilitating data sharing and synchronization. This means that you will need to import the resulting files manually.
To conclude, Export Calendars Pro certainly fills the gap left behind by Apple in terms of exporting events from Calendar to other formats. Therefore, it is a tool I recommend if you need to share your schedule with other people or access it on other types of devices. The product can be tried at no cost but with some limitations.
