Enpass is a convenient solution to keep sensitive data safe. Namely, you can store passwords and personal information in a secured environment protected with a master key combination.

This way, you no longer need to remember or note down on scraps of paper crucial data that could be stolen by intruders. Instead, Enpass will keep all these information in one place, nicely organized into categories.

The program comes with a clean and straightforward interface. At first launch, a wizard-like window opens up and lets you choose whether to start a brand new session or to restore already saved data from other platforms. Next, you need to set a master password, which is recommended to be as complex as possible, so that no one could break it. For security reasons, you should keep the password in your mind or in a safe place because, once you forget the access password, you can't recover it anymore.

With Enpass you can save all kinds of information, ranging from IDs and sites' accounts, passwords and credentials, to bank accounts, credit cards, licenses, and more. By default, the tool provides a series of templates that help you to access the data you already saved into categories easily. What's great about this tool is that you have the ability to customize the appearance of these templates. Namely, you can disable the categories you never use, create new templates, organize the most frequently used into suggestively-labeled folders, or mark them as favorites. Moreover, the tool's embedded browser lets you log in safely without typing usernames and access codes.

A feature that I personally like refers to the program's self-locking ability. In few words, if the main window is opened but not used, the tool will auto-lock after a given time interval to protect the stored information from prying eyes. To reopen it, you just need to type in the master password once again. Furthermore, you can set the program to clear data from the clipboard after a specific time lapse. This is a noteworthy function, since everyone knows that your last computer activities are stored on the clipboard, and implicitly one could steal the passwords you just used.

In addition, if you want to keep a backup of your data, you can sync the program with online storage servers like iCloud and Dropbox. This option also helps you to access information from remote devices. What is more, you can import data from similar password managers.

As far as I'm concerned, Enpass is a good utility, mainly because it is well structured, intuitive, and free. It is designed for people with multiple social accounts, cards, and log-in codes. Such a program makes you feel more relaxed as it secures your personal data and keeps them safe.
