Enigma Agency: The Case of Shadows is a game where your goal is to help your boss defend against supernatural forces. You will explore numerous locations to look for helpful items, solve a wide variety of riddles, and interact with plenty of characters.
Everything from cinematics to the nicely-drawn scenes and the artworks look impressive and the background audio goes perfectly with the plot. The built-in map displays all available locations, each with a list of tasks which need to be completed.
Every area you explore brings you a certain amount of challenges that have a medium level of difficulty. You can use the Hint option if you're unsure where to go next or how to complete a given task.
But the thing I like the most about this game is the fact that it provides you with challenges which put your intuition to the test. For instance, in one location you need to put your hands on a green marble. You can do that by interacting with the objects from the scene in a certain order (like a domino effect).
Another great aspect about this puzzle game is that the challenges differ one from another. So, the chance that you will get bored while playing Enigma Agency: The Case of Shadows on your Mac is rather small.
In my opinion, it's definitely worth buying Enigma Agency: The Case of Shadows if you're into playing challenging puzzle games in your spare time.
