Echofon for Twitter 1.3

Echofon is a Twitter client app for the Mac and other platforms. It is available for Windows, Firefox, iPhone, iPad, and even Facebook.

It is absolutely free and it allows you to view your tweets and post new ones. The great feature about this Twitter client in particular is that if you use one on your Mac and on your iPhone, you can keep both of them in sync. This way, you won't have to guess what the last tweet that you read was. Echofon automatically keeps all your platforms in sync.

The Mac version of Echofon is rather simple, but it has a nice interface. I am not a big fan of Twitter, but I can appreciate its simplicity. Echofon pairs well with Twitter, allowing you to tweet, share media, or even your location with ease. The user interface is divided into 5 tabs. The first one, your home tab, shows you all the tweets from people your are following. The other ones allow you to tweet, check your messages, access lists, or use the search feature, respectively.

In my time with it, the app was responsive, it connected to Twitter instantly and I was able to read tweets and post them quite easily.
