Droplr is a program that lets you upload a file and gives you a link.

Droplr is a neat program that is much like Dropbox's public folder - which is how I've been sharing images and files on my computer.

However, Droplr seems easier and smoother than Dropbox's public folder if you're dealing with smaller files, such as images.

I like that I can drag an image over the Droplr icon in my menu bar and it will upload and create a link to the picture without changing the original file at all - in Dropbox, I have the move the file itself or place a copy in my public folder. Once your file is uploaded in Droplr, the link is copied to your clipboard and can be viewed in your browser. You can also see a small preview of the image in the Droplr menu, and if you click on it, it will open in your browser.

Another neat feature is that it shows how many times your image has been viewed. There are also easy buttons to share your file on Facebook, Twitter or through email.

The one thing I don't like all that much is that the link you're given brings you to a page that shows the file as well as clearly showing that it's hosted by Droplr, while an image shared through Dropbox shows the image in your browser just as if you're viewing any other image. This Droplr page isn't intrusive and has some features for easy sharing, but I would much prefer to view only the image. If you try to view the image away from Droplr, it occasionally says access denied and when it does work, the link it generates is enormous. However, I think most people wouldn't have a problem with viewing the image with Droplr's wonderfully short link.

It is just awesome, Without this app I didn't like to make screen shots, because it was time consuming and just annoying, but with Droplr, it's easy and fast!
