Download Buddy is a free utility that helps you save files from websites easily. The program comes with a simple and intuitive interface. Thus, you just need to paste the file's URL into the input box and the downloading process starts immediately. As I already mentioned, the utility provides you with an integrated browser. This way, you can navigate through the Internet from the same app, since opening your default browser is no longer needed. Furthermore, you can customize the embedded browser to serve your Internet navigating needs. Namely, you can set a website you visit often as a home page, and you can enable the program to remove cookies and caches automatically.

The utility keeps a record of the already downloaded files and of those pending to be downloaded. However, you can delete the history of your downloads anytime you want. A good feature provided by the app is the ability to download in batches. You can preset the maximum number of files you prefer to be downloaded at once. In addition, if you consider that the downloading tasks slow down other running computer processes, you may pause downloading the files and resume the tasks later. What's more, you can see how much free space is left on the partition selected as downloading path.

The program is stable and works fine, even when resuming the tasks you have previously paused. Unfortunately, you don't have the possibility to set a downloading speed limitation. Such an option would be of great help since it would allow you to manage your computer resources better.
