Disk Space Saver is a file and folder explorer that lets you have a clear overview of your drive or of a selected directory. This way, you can spot at a glance the items that take most space on disk. Consequently, you can easily decide on the files and folders to delete so you can recover the wasted space that slows down your computer performance.
Once you open the application, you simply add the disk or the folder you wish to check and wait for the utility to finish the scan process. When the operation ends, you can filter the results by size, type and extension. Also, you are provided with different result views, such as Pie Chart, Hierarchical display, and Bar Chart. However, the chart is limited to 5 items if you use the free version of Disk Space Saver. Exploring the content of folders is intuitive due to the clear structural view of your disk. Deleting large or useless files and folders is done easily, in a click. Unfortunately, the tool doesn't have a search bar to find by name the items you already know that worth being deleted.
In short, Disk Space Saver offers a simple solution to explore disk content. Also, it allows you to remove useless files and folders so the system can perform in optimal conditions.
