Data Rescue is, as its name clearly states, a program that helps you recover files from your Mac. This application might prove to be of good use whenever you're dealing with losing important data due to accidental deletion or drive formatting and you require a simple yet effective solution for restoring the lost files back on your Mac.

You can work with this program to recover your entire hard drive or just some of the files you require. The app comes with an integrated preview feature which enables you to check the found lost files before launching the recovery process.

Furthermore, this new version of Data Rescue gives you access to a new built-in utility called BootWell. When deleting files from your Mac it's imperative to stop making any alterations, like software installations or file copying, as you could overwrite the files you want to get back. Here's where BootWell comes in handy. The aforementioned tool enables you to create bootable disks to restore data from your main hard drive (or startup disk).

Another good thing about this application is the fact that it can also create a clone of any selected drive which you can scan for missing data.

In conclusion, Data Rescue proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac programs. This application provides you with fast scanning speed, restores files of numerous formats, and works on
all Mac hard drives even if they fail to operate.

Don't say it's freeware if they charge you to repair files... It's called Data Rescue, not Data Scan Your Files For Free Before We Charge You A Stack of Cash To Actually Do Something About It...
