Color Theory is a digital color wheel that intelligently finds hundreds of color schemes based on your image, logo, or color sample. Build a palette using formulas based on classical Bauhaus studies, then vary the colors' hue, saturation and lightness. You can even load in an image file to initially sample colors from. When you've finalized your palette, save a bitmap file to sample your colors from. The Pro version includes a plug-in suite for After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The Standard version does not support image loading or monitor mirroring.
What's new in this version:
Version 1.6 makes the product run natively on Intel Macs. It also makes the Pro version filters compatible with After Effects CS3 and Photoshop CS3 on Mac OS X.
This update also adds Tool Tips and the ability to paste color values as text into other applications. These features have always been in the Windows version.
