Clock Lite is a simple time tracking application with multiple functionalities. Therefore, the tool can be used as a standard digital clock, a countdown timer, a stop watch, and an alarm utility. This way, you have most common time-related issues conveniently wrapped into a single application.
The four functionalities can be easily accessed from the main window by switching tabs. The clock display doesn't impress you too much. It is rather dull and doesn't support customization. It simply informs you about the current time of your computer system. The timer helps you countdown the time for an activity so you can be more productive and finish the job within a set interval of time. The duration can be expressed in hours, minutes, and seconds. The app releases both visual and acoustical notifications when the time is up. Counting the time is done easily using the stop watch. All you need to do is press the Start button and pause the counting with a click of a button. When it comes to setting an alarm, things are also easy. You simply set the time for the alarm and wait for the app to announce you when the timer is done. Similarly to the countdown timer, a popup window and a predefined sound inform you that the time has elapsed. Unfortunately, the tool doesn't allow you to set a custom alarm sound.
In short, Clock Lite is a basic time keeping application. The utility can't be set to run in the menu bar to leave the desktop uncluttered and it doesn't support multiple alarms, timers, and stop watches. Furthermore, you can't set another time zone for the clock except for that of your system.
