Classic FTP is an FTP (file transfer protocol) client for the Mac. It allows you connect to any FTP site, and download and upload, and manage files.
Classic FTP makes it easy to add FTP login data. It uses a wizard to let you type in all the important bits, like user name, password, ftp address, etc. and then it keeps that information in a "Site Manager". You can connect to an FTP site from here by double clicking and if you selected the "save password" option, you don't even have to type it again.
There is an interesting feature that this client comes with. It is called "mirror tool", and what it does is check the local folder and compare it with the FTP folder to see if there are any missing files. If there are any, they will be uploaded. This is a nice tool for webmasters.
In my testing, I was easily able to connect to Microsoft's FTP server and download files. Drag and drop worked well, and I didn't experience any problems.
Pros
- Mirror tool

An easy to use FTP client
