Bulkr is a desktop app for Mac users who wish to back up their Flickr photos and videos as well as download pictures from other users.

In order to use this program properly you need a good Internet connection signal and have Adobe Air installed on your Mac (or else you can't install Bulkr). If you meet these two requirements, you can browse the Flickr photo collections and download your favorites with just a few clicks.

An advantage of Bulkr is that it provides you with an efficient search tool which helps you find pictures uploaded on the Flickr website. After you enter the proper keywords, you can configure the search filters according to your needs and just wait for the results.

Still, there's one thing I don't like about working with Bulkr: you need to upgrade the app to its Pro version in order to unlock some important features. After making the necessary payment, you can sort search results, browse up to 500 photos per page, download metadata, etc.

To conclude, Bulkr is a simple to use program that offers you a simple way to back up your Flickr image and video collections. However, if you wish to have access to additional features, I recommend you to upgrade Bulkr to Pro version.
