Boer War - History And Mysteries is a reference tool designed for students or any Mac user interested in studying the events that took place in South Africa between 1899 and 1902. This program gives you access to facts and mysteries about the first conflict of the 20th century - the Second Boer War.
When launching the app for the first time, a Configuration window will be displayed on your desktop. There, you can choose the preferred screen resolution, graphics quality level, and display mode (Fullscreen or Windowed). You can change these settings the next time you launch the program and not from the app's main window.
Its interface is nicely-designed and very intuitive. The developers provide you with detailed information regarding the events as well as mysteries that were never unraveled.The app also features a map of South Africa, with marks where the events took place.
Another thing I like about this program is the fact that it gives you direct access to the Wikipedia page of all listed events.
The one thing that bothered me was the fact that it didn't allow me to copy text content to clipboard.
Other than that, the app offers you plenty of useful material about the Boer war. Plus, it comes without a price.
