Work with a client for searching and managing new and popular applications for Mac devices. Check out the storefront environment and browse various products and titles, view detailed descriptions, purchase and download items, control integration, etc.
Bodega is an application manager and an app discovery tool. It automatically scans your Applications folder and creates a list of installed applications. It also grabs their versions and checks them to determine whether they are up-to-date. When they are not, you can update them by clicking on the "GET" button. This will automatically download the update and you will have to click on "Install" once it has been downloaded. I like that you are not taken to a website when you decide to update an app. Instead the file is downloaded and installed automatically.
Other than letting you update your apps, Bodega also allows you to find new ones. There are quite a few apps available, but not every single app is there. There is a Featured section that includes new releases, the top free apps and the top paid apps. You can also find apps by category, such as audio, business, finance, games, Internet, etc.
Bodega works very well and it has a good design. You can download and buy apps directly from the interface and add apps to a wishlist.
