Bigasoft Audio Converter 2.3

Bigasoft Audio Converter is an audio file converter. It allows you to convert audio files among a few audio formats, including MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A, RA, APE, AUD, and AIFF.

It can also be used to open video formats and extract, or "rip", their audio track. There is a big list of supported video formats.

The graphical user interface looks a lot like the video and audio converters by Bigasoft for Windows, but a little more refined and with the "Mac" look. The interface has a video and audio player that can be used to preview your files, but not the conversion process itself. You can add as many files as you want to the queue and they will be converted one after another. At the bottom of the screen, there is a drop-down menu that contains all the conversion profiles (output formats).

In terms of performance, I thought the application was very fast. It does support many formats, too. In my testing, I converted a few MP3 songs to M4A, and the process took no time at all. Bigasoft Audio Converter also comes with a video trimmer and a cropper. I don't see how those would be helpful in an audio converter.
