AppCleaner 1.2

AppCleaner is a very specific system maintenance tool. It allows you to uninstall applications and eliminate all traces of them from your system.

Granted, uninstalling a Mac app is as easy as dragging the .app file to the trash. But sometimes, files and folders are left behind. That's where AppCleaner comes in. It shows a list of detected applications. You can then check the ones that you want to delete from your system. After that, the application will look for related files to those applications and tell you what it has found. After that, you can delete them all for good.

AppCleaner can also get rid of plug-ins and system widgets. The procedure is the same for those two. And you can access both features from the main window.

Graphically, AppCleaner is very simple. It is a box that shows a list of apps. At first, I was a little confused about how the application worked. It took me a little bit to figure out that after selecting the programs that I wanted I had to click on "Search" for the app to look for related files. But after I realized my mistake, everything worked really well. Also, you can drag applications that you want to remove to the AppCleaner interface.
