AppCleaner is, as its name clearly suggests, a tool that helps you remove unwanted programs from your Mac. This system utility might prove to be of good use whenever you wish to reclaim space on your drives by uninstalling the apps you no longer require.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface, supports drag-and-drop action, and immediately removes any selected utility from the Applications list. After you select the software you wish to uninstall from your Mac, AppCleaner scans your local drives for related files and lets you choose which ones you wish to delete.
An advantage of this utility is that it allows you to select multiple programs from your Applications folder and uninstall them simultaneously.
My only concern regarding this application is that it doesn't provide you with an option to search orphaned files. This feature might come in handy if you sent an app to Trash, and there are still leftover files from the removed software on your Mac.
All in all, AppCleaner offers you a simple yet efficient way to get rid of unnecessary programs from your Mac. However, if you also wish to find orphaned files on your local drives, I'd suggest you to try other uninstallers.

Does a very thorough job of uninstalling most apps and finds a LOT more app components than previous versions.
Simply do a search for an uninstalled app with EasyFind and you will notice the latest version of AppCleaner rarely misses anything.
