Aiseesoft iPad Converter Suite for Mac 6.2

Aiseesoft iPad Converter Suite for Mac is a media conversion suite. It contains a video converter and a DVD ripper that you can use to convert both video files and DVD movies to formats that can be played on your iPad natively.

Now, there is another similar app by Aiseesoft called iPad 2 Converter Suite for Mac. If you have that one, you don't need this one, and viceversa, since the iPad 1 and the iPad 2 play the same formats. The apps might come with different conversion profiles, but essentially any file that you convert with any of those apps will play on your iPad 1 or 2 just fine.

This suite also comes with an iPad manager. This application lets you download content from your iPad directly (without having to sync with iTunes).

When you first launch the app, a launcher will come up, and a new window will appear when you click on one of the three available buttons.

Both the video converter and the DVD ripper have the same conversion profiles and a similar graphical user interface. They can convert files into MP4 (H.264 and MPEG-4), M4V, and MOV, among other formats.

I tested this app with an MKV file and the conversion process went smoothly. The resulting file looked very good and was playable on my iPad.
