Rinse is an easy-to-use application developed by RealNetworks and is employed together with iTunes. It was designed to help the Mac users to keep track of the iTunes library. It comes with the tools for organizing and cleaning the iTunes library. It has a modern look, and it combines the nice GUI with an easy-to-use menu in order to help Mac users to get the hang of the application.
This feature-rich application comes with four basic tools: Find duplicates, Fix your songs, Add album art and Organize genres. Each of these tools can be used in 2 separate modes: manual and automatic. The automatic mode is faster, and does not require any user action, but it allows the Mac users to step in at any time in order to modify any of the computer's choices. "Fix your songs" refers to fixing the name of your songs, and not to fixing the quality of the audio files, although it may sound like it. The duplicate finder is accurate and it allows the users to customize the search, the action that will be taken when a duplicate is found or where to store the duplicate files.
