This utility was created for Mac users who wish to have access to the digital version of the periodic table on their computers. The application not only displays the well-known table of elements but also provides you with detailed information regarding each of the listed items, molar masses details, electron configurations, and many others.
Periodic Table comes with a user-friendly interface. So, you don't need much computer experience in order to handle this program. The utility has 6 windows: About, Table, Properties, Electron Configuration, Plots, and Molar Mass.
The Properties screen gives you access to detailed information regarding the element you select from the periodic table. It shows details such as atomic number, molar mass, density, melting point, ionization energy, and others. Even though the aforementioned information can easily be found on the Web, this app organizes all of the details in such way that you can quickly locate the ones you need and it helps you find the molar masses you require within seconds. So, personally, I'd definitely prefer using this app more than my default browser if I'd need to find info regarding chemical elements.
Another important advantage is that the program comes with an integrated search tool. Simply type the name of the chemical element, its atomic number or symbol and the app immediately displays the info you need.
