Zwoptex is an application for creating sprite sheets with the help of some powerful features. You may use the Trimming feature to automatically trim the transparent edges around sprites that would normally be wasted. You can choose one of several ready to go coordinates format or use and modify a custom one that you can tailor to your specific needs using a simple template engine syntax.
Sprite Updating lets you update sprites from their original source file or change the source file they are linked to.
