Wondershare Data Recovery is a Mac utility designed to help you restore files that were lost after dealing with a virus attack, hard disk crash or an improper partition. The program provides you with multiple helpful features, is very intuitive, and can recover lost files from multiple types of data storage containers.

All you need to do is to select the type of files you wish to recover (images, audio files, videos, etc.), choose the scan location (it can be a local drive, USB stick, etc.), and let the program complete a quick scan. If it fails to provide any results, you can start a deep scan and see if it manages to find any files.

Once the scanning process is complete, you can preview the found files and filter them if needed. Then, all you need to do is to select the files you wish to restore and click the "Recover" button. Unfortunately, if you're using the trial version of the tool, you will be prompted with a message to register the product and you won't be able to recover any files until you purchase the program for your Mac, the cost of which is rather high, I should say.

Another thing that's worth mentioning is that the utility lacks the option to choose which types of file formats to look for (for example, MP3, JPEG, etc.), a feature that might help you reduce the amount of time you spend waiting for the scan results.

Still, Wondershare Data Recovery has its own advantages. So, it's up to you to decide if it's worth buying this product for your Mac or not.
