Wiki Reader is a program for Mac that provides you with an alternative to searching Wikipedia articles with your default browser. This application brings you a straightforward interface, comes with an integrated search tool, and immediately finds the Wikipedia information you require.
All you need to do in order to work with this utility is to enter keywords for the Wiki article you're looking for and hit the Enter key. Then, the application starts searching the Web for the information you require and displays it on the right side of the screen.
I like that you can select text content from the found article and copy it to the clipboard. Furthermore, the program also features an integrated text-to-speech tool; you just select the text you wish to be read, right-click over it, and select the Speech option.
Another good aspect about this Mac utility is the fact that it allows you to print Wikipedia articles directly from its interface. What's more, you can save Wiki pages as PDF documents to your local directories.
All in all, I'd say it's worth trying Wiki Reader on your computer. The program is simple to use, provides you with accurate results, and comes without a price. So I can't find any reason why you shouldn't try it on your Mac.
