Wake Up Clock is an application that allows you to manage multiple alarms for your daily activities. Also, the tool works as a countdown timer that supports being paused, resumed, and stopped according to your needs.
The utility opens with an interface that is rather misleading. Namely, it tempts you to continue with the premium edition which has a much larger and more attractive visual representation than the basic version. However, once you figured out how to access the free version, using the application is very easy. You have the ability to save as many alarms as you want. Each alarm can be customized in terms of active days of the week, hours and minutes. The time format can be set from Preferences and affects all enabled alarms. Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to set a custom alarm sound. You can't even choose a different sound than the default one. The app provides five sound profiles, yet only one is available for free. It seems that the tool provides a Smart alarm option, yet this feature is disabled within the free version. For time tracking, you can use the timer which will countdown the time you allocated to an activity. If multiple alarms are supported, when it comes to counting down the time, only one timer can be enabled for only one activity at a time.
To conclude, the free version of Wake Up Clock offers basic time-related options, limited to setting alarms and counting down the time. You will notice the presence of an icon representation in the menu bar, yet it isn't of much help as it doesn't display any time information. It only lets you know that the app is enabled.
