It records voice messages to notify you about important events or tasks

2.2 (See all)

Voice Memo is an application that records voice messages to notify you about important events or tasks. The tool saves your voice recording and uses it as an alarm sound to inform you about what you need to do at a specific time you determine.

The program comes with a neat and easy-to-use interface. All features are conveniently displayed on the main window so that you can enable them with ease whenever the situation requires it. However, there is a hidden Preferences menu where you can set the application to open without your manual intervention at system login and to play Voice Memo automatically when the alarm goes off. Deleting an already-configured alarm can be done from the same dialog – you can disable an alarm from the main window, but you can remove it permanently only from Preferences. Recording a voice message is done easily, simply by clicking on the microphone-like icon. Once you stop the recording, a small dialog opens up allowing you to enter the title of your personalized alarm. A built-in calendar helps you select the date of the alarm you wish to enable, as well as the precise time when it will be released.

With a straightforward approach and a simple alarm configuration, the program notifies you with your own voice about future tasks and events. Unlike common alarm applications that use common sounds or music tracks as acoustic notifications, this tool plays back your recorded voice to tell you exactly what activity you need to perform.
