Vectornator is intended to design vector graphics, including illustrations, interface mockups and layouts. Therefore, it comes in handy for different types of professionals, such as designers, illustrators and artists, which does not mean it cannot be used by anyone who loves drawing. The tool supports importing and exporting a wide range of file formats, including (AI*, PDF*, Sketch, Figma, SVG, PNG and JPG), which allows sharing your work with users of other popular applications.
Vectornator has a carefully designed interface. Likewise, its layout may feel familiar to many users, as there is the usual large canvas in the center, the toolbar on the left and the properties pane on the right. So, if you have used drawing applications before, it is quite likely that you can start using this one from the start. However, it is good to know there is help documentation and even some tutorials available.
Like many other similar applications, Vectornator’s toolbox includes the pen tool, shapes, brushes and eraser. Similarly, it is excellent that it supports working with layers. Moreover, your objects can be easily aligned, grouped, masked, ordered, scaled, rotated or cloned. Fortunately, it also comes with various tools that allow working with vectors, which include Corner Radius, Boolean as well as combining, separating and outlining paths. Finally, you can have great control over the text you insert, thanks to the possibility to use accurate measures, import font types, outline text and place it on a path. more
