Unshaky is an application that can dismiss duplicate key hits on MacBook butterfly keyboards. Apple made it difficult to replace only the keyboard and it costs hundreds of dollars. Unshaky might save your keyboard by dismissing such "second key hits" (any key presses that occur no later than x milliseconds after the previous effective one).

The i key is now set to 80, the spacebar is set to forty along with some letters, a few of the other letters have been set to sixty. In total I have made adjustments to six letters and the spacebar. I adjusted the spacebar because at times it would add a period before adding the space.
Before using the Unshaky App, and at this point in typing, I would have already had dozens of mistakes. If not for downloading , installing, and configuring the shaky app, I would have had to spend many frustrating minutes fixing all the mistakes my keyboard would have made.
I can hardly believe that after years of frustration while using this keyboard, I have now finally found a solution. It is amazing, it is as if i have a brand new computer! Just look, three full paragraphs with many words and the use of many letters and not one mistake! I am thrilled!
